At the heart of our practice is a deep commitment to compassionate, professional, and collaborative care.

With over 22 years of service in Kelowna, we are proud to be a leader in collaborative group counselling—helping individuals and families grow, heal, and thrive. Our experienced team includes therapists who work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. We offer a wide range of specialized services to meet your unique needs, including:

  • Play Therapy

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Gottman Method Couples Counselling

  • Art Therapy

  • Support for Trauma and Grief

  • Therapy for Neurodivergent Clients

Each member of our team brings specialized training, a client-centered approach, and a genuine passion for supporting mental wellness.

What truly sets us apart is our reputation—built over decades through meaningful connections and care. The majority of our clients come to us through personal recommendations, and we consider every word-of-mouth referral a tremendous honour.

At our core, we believe in the healing power of relationship—within families, between therapist and client, and among our team. You’re not just accessing one therapist; you’re benefiting from the strength of a collaborative, well-rounded group practice dedicated to your growth.

Registered Professionals You Can Trust

At Stepping Stones Counselling Group, you will find registered and insured professionals who have master's degrees in counselling, psychology, education, or another relevant field. Our counsellors are all members in good standing of a respected regulatory body such as the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) or British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW), qualifying them to hold the title of Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker. This means they are held to the highest standard of competence for mental health professionals. They are required to follow codes of ethical conduct and standards of clinical practice as set out by the BCACC/BCCSW.

“The RCC designation, accounting for more than 70% of all clinical counsellors, is the de facto standard for clinical counselling in British Columbia.” -  bcacc.ca
